Crunch Balloon Bread π (Bubble Hotteok) λ²λΈνΈλ‘
It is called Bubble Hotteok(λ²λΈνΈλ‘) or Gonggal-ppang (곡κ°λΉ΅) in Korea which means there is hollow space inside of it.
Originally it is made by the Chinese immigrant and it wasn't made in the iron tray before. Looks like someone made it bake the bread quick and easy in a small street food stand.
It is called a kind of bread, but it's crunchy like cookies or chips.
▶Ingredients
-Flour, corn flour, and rice powder for the dough.
-Brown sugar, cinnamon, black sesame seed for filling
It is not the best street food, but I think it is enough to have fun to try it with spending less than $1.00. π
Why don't you try π when you visit South Korea.
Its original appearance looks like pita bread or Turkish lavash,
but it contains sweet filling inside.
It cost about U$0.90
Simple and fast snack on the street food truck.
Thank you!
