Easy to make KIMCHI Ramen/Ramyun with rice cakes

Ramen variations



This Kimchi Shin Ramyun with sliced rice cakes will bring a different taste. When Korean new year celebration, family reunions and having the plain rice cake soup is the tradition. I found some leftovers of sliced rice cakes and made this noodle dish.

There are many variations of Ramen(Ramyun) in Korea with the most famous instant noodle, Shin Ramen, to enjoy and taste better. BUT this will be MORE spicy ramen recipe. Beware :)


RECIPE!!
For 1 serving

Ingredients
1 package of Shin Ramen / Shin Ramyun
Some Kimchi, chopped
Some sliced plain rice cake
2 1/2 cups of water / 550cc
some green onion, chopped

INSTRUCTIONS / DIRECTIONS
1.Soak sliced plain rice cakes about 5 minute and more.
2.Boil water in a pot.
3.Add soaked rice cakes and chopped Kimchi.
4.Add soup base powder and dried vegetable mix.
5.Place ramen gently and keep boiling until it is cooked. (2~3minutes)
6.Stir ramen noodle to cook.
7.Pour it into a bowl & add chopped green onion.
